I'm leaving a city soon and I'm suddenly getting a serious case of FOMO. In particular, there was this guy in my college I was attracted to but due to my extreme self-consciousness I never did a thing.

I suspect he had a thing for me as he he would be very smiley around me (flashed me the biggest and flashiest grin when i stumbled awkwardly into class late for my first lesson). That smile did me in. Context: he was my project mate. He would offer to carry things with him so I don't have to do it. He listened in on my conversation with others and offered me a ride on his motorbike when I was simply asking for directions when we were hanging in a group. (i should have taken him up on it then but I was too self-conscious as there were others who were planning to leave together and I didn't want them talking..) He would attempt to prolong our time together (e. g ask that I run sth by him when he didn't really need to be involved ) and suggested going to a pub nearby. Alcohol for school project.. Haha

Ah I should have picked up on it but man I regret being so self-conscious in college for these past years. Now that I'm leaving for a new city, i want to end it with a bang and ask him if he's still up for that bike ride? I haven't spoken to him since our project ended last Dec.

Should I ask him for that ride?

So my brother's been into one of my friends (21) pretty much as soon as puberty started. He has let this crush dictate a lot of his choices. She likes men who play football, so he began playing football. She likes men who have six packs so he spent hours every day at the gym, lost a bunch of weight and got a six pack. It's even completely changed the direction he's taking his life, he learnt that women want men with money so he decided not to pursue being an actor anymore and learnt to programme.

What he doesn't know is that we've already joked about her and him and she guaranteed she'd never date him because he's too short (5'11, she prefers 6'2 and above).

My dilemma is whether not I should tell him that it's never going to happen. So far all of the changes he's made for her are great changes, he's already making more money than my dad because one of his apps blew up, he used to be a little pudgy so it's been better for his health and the chances of him actually being an actor were non-existant anyway so all in all he has a much brighter future ahead of him. I feel like if I tell him now, he won't have the same motivation he has now. Do I tell him?
