Search Results: should i get her something for valentines day

So there's this girl that I like. SHE IS SHY. Like personality wise..

She liked me before for sure. I caught her staring at me before, and when I noticed, she looked away immediately. She also used to blush when I talked to her in a conversation.

Now fast forward a week or 2, and we messaged each other on Facebook for a couple days. She seemed really excited and eagar to talk, 'laghing' a lot on Facebook. So I asked her if she wanted to go get a coffee at starbucks sometime. She said yeah sure. Then I asked her how about the next day at lunchtime. She said that she was busy taht day, but maybe some other time during that same week? I said that sounded good, and she replied Okay! She then asked me one a question about schoolwork. I replied with an answer and asked about her. She never replied back... This was 3 days ago.

Also I see her at school ususally. The thing is that she is naturally shy, so she doesn't like looking at people in the eye usually. I passed her through a door today face to face, and said 'hi, how're doing'. She just smiled.

A couple minutes later I ran into her again in the hallway, but this time she was on the oppisite side of me, and she just looked down at her phone and kept walking. I didn't say anything that time.

The thing is, I really like her and I knew she liked me before, but these past few days it kinda has shown that she doesn't like me, ignoring me completly. Is she just playing hard to get? Or has she lost interest? What can I do to make things better?

I really don't wanna lose her... What should I do?

by the way, I really want to ask her out on Tuesday, for Valentine's day next Saturday, would that be smart in this situation? I really wanna just get a final answer instead of trying to read her games :/ Would she think I'm retarded or something if I ask her out? So should I? lol
