With St.Valentine's Day just around the corner, here are some red hot tips for you to make this special occasion one to remember.

What to wear

Now I've seen the latest edition for this for women, but what should us men wear to make this day unforgettable for that special someone?

Tip: You really need to make an effort.

• Ditch the white t-shirt and your favourite blue jeans. Now I'm no fashionista, but white t-shirts and jeans are a NO-GO. They're OK for certain things, but if you're taking your date out for dinner or a play, you'll stand out.


• Instead, opt for a smart shirt and a pair of smart DARK (preferably black) jeans and some trendy shoes that go well with them.

Something like this will do. You can even add a sport jacket if it's cold outside.

What to wear (addons)

• Cologne is a must. You may already have one to hand, but if you don't, go get one ASAP.


• Get some mosturising cream, etcetera ... You want to look your BEST.

What to bring with you (for her)

• This all boils down to personal choice, but you should know your date enough to know what she doesn't want. If she doesn't like flowers, don't bring any. My GF doesn't want anything, just me, so I'm in the clear for that one.


• Bring a smile, be assertive, be a gentlemen.

Enjoy yourself guys, don't expect to get her in your bedroom - unless she's your GF and that's where things usually head after a great night out!

Personally I still don't think a man can beat the classic blue jeans and white tee-shirt look. It's just really appealing. And don't think that just because your GF says she doesn't want anything your in the clear. Many women just say that, but they truly wish that you would get them something. It makes it more of a surprise. Just a thought :)

not a chance of them making it to full grown. What you need to do it a week or two before, or after, you go and buy the flowers and candy for a fraction of the price. You take her out to dinner and you just tell her you don't need a calendar to remind you that you care/love her.
once I was married my (ex) wife woulda kicked my ass if I had wasted that much on flowers. She would rather have a dinner out at outback for less then the cost of roses on Valentine's day.

This is pretty informative. A good smart outfit does a lot for a guy. I normally do not dress up fancy but I do when it comes to going out with someone I really like.

Some Ideas:
a lot of girls love chocolate, teddy bears, jewelry, (the stereotypical things). But then again some girls couldn't care less about that stuff, so it just depends on what your SO likes and doesn't like :)
