It's a no brainer that feminism does NOT embrace men. However I know lots of average women who actually despise radical feminism because:

1. It constantly demeans the male gender and lowers confidence of many average men. This results in a plethora of "nice guys'...i.e. overly pleasing men who are afraid to take what they really want. Many average women don't want pleasing wimps.

2. It demeans and insults women who take traditional roles. Some women want to be homemakers who raise children and allow their husband to be the bread winner. They see a traditional nuclear family as a healthy means to go through life.
