We had a bad break up and I was still into him. After 5 months we started talking again over text and I told him I only wanted to be friends. He never mentioned having a new girlfriend but it now turns out he had one. A few weeks ago he started sending me dirty messages and trying to flirt, I never responded. Than I realized by seeing a picture he had just posted on instagram that he had a girlfriend. The same day he wrote another dirty message and I got angry and told him I knew he had a girlfriend and that he shouldn’t be texting me those things. He said I was right and the day after he told me he had broken up with the girlfriend because texting me had made him realize that was the right thing to do. I tried to talk to him again a few days later and he answered he never wants to talk to me again because it’s my fault if he broke up with his new girlfriend... what am I supposed to think?

Me and my ex broke up about a year ago. Since then I have been struggled a lot with the breakup, it has affected my psychological health in such a way that sometimes I need to take anxiety pills :'(. We have been talking during all this time but after several conversations about us he keeps saying he wants friendship and what really sucks is that I still have feelings. So it's been a torture keep talkibg to him like never happened and simultaneously watching him flirting with other girls. It is destroying me so much that I feel like I'm getting depressive, so I took the decision to cut the conversation for my own mental safety. Did I mame the right decision? Thank you.
