So here's my plan:

There's a guy who I've kind of been pursuing for a couple months, but I've been the one starting everything and I'm kind of sick of it. So what I decided to do this week is ignore him. I'm not going to text him at all, and if he talks to me in school I'm going to be kind of distant. Then, on Saturday we have this big semi-formal fundraiser that we have to go to. I'm wearing a kind of slutty black dress, my hair is in a side-braid-bun with a curl going down the other side of my face (I usually wear my hair down), I'm doing some tricks to make my boobs look really good, I'm doing my makeup super well and I'm wearing this red necklace that goes right down to my cleavage, matching earrings and a flower by the braid. Then, I'm going to kind of ignore him all night and flirt with other guys (especially his best friend). I know guys a lot of times want what they can't have, so what do you think? Is it worth it?

In one of my classes, there's a guy who I sit next to and he glances at me a lot during class. In the beginning of the semester he used to sit across the room. He used to stare alot. 2 weeks after he came and sat next to me. He talked to me the first time he sat next to me. But not anymore but he still sits next to me next to me and glances and smiles once in a while. Last time we were going to take a test he was like, "oh, umm... good luck." And he smiled and looked down. he's just being friendly, right? I find it hard to believe he could actually like me. He's really thin (I don't want to judge and say underweight since I don't knw that for a fact) and I'm overweight. he's a lot taller than me. I dress normal and do my hair and makeup (I just wear some mascara and blush) but I dnt think really thin guys find big people attractive? I don't know that for a fact so that's why I'd like to know if they really do?

In high school there was another skinny guy who would act like that too. All 4 years of high school he would stare and smile and his friends too. His girlfriend hated me though. I don't know why. I was just at school being my regular quiet self. And she would give me dirty looks. And she would pull her boyfriend away if I walked by. I don't know what was going on though.

So anyway, do some thin guys like big girls?

What do you think of child pageants?

I keep seeing this preview for this show called, "Toddlers & Tiaras"

It's about litte girls in Beauty Pageants.

They Wear:

-Lots of makeup

-Provocative clothing

-False eyelashes

-Spray tans

They have to rehearse for hours, how to:

-Walk

-Dance (aka talents act)

-Articulate themselves (talking)

The only thing they get out of it is a crown, and only one of them gets it. The parents get money, and they are able to say that they have a beauty pageant contestant for a daughter.

I know this is only one case, but cases like the JonBenét Ramsey link case really makes me think, "Is it right to project children in this light?"

I know that there will always be deranged people out there that commit horrible crimes, but do you think pageants like these magnify the issue?

Do you think if they had these pageants, but made rules out to be no make up/spray tans/false eyelashes/etc, and the participants were just regular kids who have talent and answer questions correctly, it would make it more acceptable/better?
