Why do guys always stare at me at the gym?

I just started going to the gym like a few weeks ago, and every time I go to the gym, guys always stare at me. older guys, guys my age, and even younger guys who look like they're in high school stare. one guy even bumped into a group of people because he kept staring.

I don't even look at them. I'm just there to work out.

sometimes I'll be on a machine and they stare so much! I've noticed they don't even stare at the other girls as much as me. and they always try to walk by me a lot and they try to flex their muscles or something. or they start lifting weights and if I'm near by, they keep looking over like if they wanted to see if I'm looking at them.

i don't know why they do this. I look disgusting when I work out. I get all red and really sweaty. and I don't wear slutty clothes. I wear I guess yoga pants, and a zipped up sweater and a tank top under it. I don't wear low cut stuff though. and I just wear a bit of makeup (just mascara) because I go at night after work. and I'm overweight. I don't have a nice body so I don't think they're checking me out.

are they making fun of me or something? or do they think I'm gross? why do they stare so much?

look on the bright side there was this one dude I saw at the gym who kept circling a chick (was the creepiest thing I have ever seen)

most guys at the gym look at cute girls since there really isn't much to look at

the scenery in the gym is just weights and other guys mostly who are lifting so when a cute girl shows up we can't help but look

I agree that you must look attractive. No matter how weird it sounds to you, but there is no other explanation. One that finds something disgusting might look and make disgusting face but than they look elsewhere.

Really skinny girls are not sexy. You probably have much better body than you imagine!

Anyways, they may find you hot.

Or, on the other hand, if you're like 600 pounds and 3 feet tall, they might be repulsed. It's most likely the former though. :)

They probably find you attractive. you probably think your ugly and don't really see how you come off. what you think is overweight and a bad body is probably attractive to some guys. there are a lot of guys who are attracted girls who aren't in shape.
