Why do guys stare at you at the gym?

I want to workout but every time I go I feel like a piece of meat.

I have always advised young guys especially as both gym staff & as users of several , to NEVER even glance at women in gyms , they HATE it , as per your post. What pisses me off is the evil looks from women , when I am simply looking for a free space for my next set , or I will improvise / change routine... I am NOT even fucking " checking them out " . Most female members get in the way stood / sat there playing with phones anyway , hence I 'm a fan of female only gyms , gyms are for working out... NOT " checking out " !!! I no longer use gyms... too many annoyances from BOTH genders , plus saves gym fees.

Inbetween sets you can't do much and a beautful women is always appreaciated.
Actually it makes guys work harder at the gym.( studies suggest :p)
it is nature for man to be drawn towards women.
Are you not looking around? You never look at others? You never appreciate a good-looking guy? You never look for inspiration for another exercise?

You must be expecting it to notice it at all. Women get a super ego up about their looks and then they look for men staring at them and get angry when they do. I attract women as well but I have to get it pointed out to me by somebody else because I never notice because I don't have an ego about how I look. I only care about what I want not what I can offer. It's a bad perspective you've got. Everybody checks out everybody

Honestly, most of us don't "mean" to make you feel that way, but we can't help it a lot of the time. We're visual, and you are a beautiful woman. It's like driving by an accident, you can't help but not look at it. It's why women are used by the media to sell everything.

Often it is because they like what they see, sometimes a person, (guy OR girl) is just simply staring off into space while they work out.

If it's the kind of thing that bothers you, I understand that, it might be worth finding a gym that is women only, that is the reason they exist.
