What would you make of this guy's action? I went on a really good first date where we had dinner and then he suggested we get drinks after. We talked about deeper subjects like insecurities and opened up more about who we are. I was a bit nervous and I think I might have come off as reserved cause he kept wanting to get close respectfully but I wasn't there yet although I was comfortable enough to open up to him. I get that he's kinda reserved, didn't really try to make physical touches on me besides a knee brush. He kept leaning in while talking to me and could't stop touching his face (body language signs lol)

We went out separate ways and about 20 minutes after, I got a text from him saying he enjoyed his evening, and didn't think we'd cover these deeper topics on a first date but he felt like we opened more and that he likes what he sees so far (with a cheesy grin emoji, and a smiley face). I was feeling really good about it that he followed up on the night of. And I replied back saying that I'm glad we did this and said I hope he isn't staying up too late tonight (he works long hours)

I haven't heard back from him since. It happened on Monday night and it's now Thursday evening where I'm at. Almost 3 days - should I move on?

Or am I supposed to text him?

So I am a very smart girl. Like 4.0, honors college kinda girl. I was raised in a family that if you don't speak up you won't be heard, so I don't cower to anyone. I have a strong sense of character and always say what I feel is right even if there are "consequences" for my actions (like not being favorable to the person who wants to do what I consider isn't right). I am super competitive and have a want to continue to better myself. I have my life for the next 8 years planned out and have already made steps as an 18-year-old college student to make sure I can follow that path. I've had internships in the career I want to go into, am working a job in the career I am pursuing currently as I take 17 hours ( not including the 2 labs I am taking this semester), as well as holding a Vice-President position for a club we are starting up at my university. Where I am from people have told me that if I want a man I need to "make him feel like it" but if I have to help you "feel like a man" are you really one? My personality is very outgoing and I am not super good at picking up body language signals for when I overstep boundaries. With this being said I always ask for verbal consent to continue conversations that may push those boundaries and have only had a problem with this method once when someone wasn't being honest about how comfortable they were so I apologized. My friends say that I am not the one with the problem and that I just haven't found the "right guy'' yet, but am I scary to approach? And if I am is there something I can do to lessen that?
by the way I am pretty with a pretty nice/avereage body. So I don't think its anything physical.
