ppl from all over the world are running into these glorified by hollywood american citizens and finding ill educated propagandarised bigots sometimes. frankly some of these people would be classed as developmentally challenged in europe. the Chinese people we see here for instance are usually students. the other cultures are hard working and private or established and in our friend groups. europe is of course well acquainted with each other and most of its countries are relatively small.

but most of the americans we meet are online.

and their are millions of them.

the internet has a MUCH bigger influence on how america is perceived abroad these days.
