Hey I'm 16, and I'm raising my little brother, and he's 10, and so today we were on the beach playing around and then my BOYFRIEND OF TWO YEARS, sneaks up behind my little brother and pushes him down and slapped him REALLY HARD!!! I ran over to my brother and he was crying really hard, he had a sprained ankle and had a hard time walking so I piggybacked him to the other side of the beach where my car was, and he was crying of bad pain,

He is really afraid of my boyfriend now, like literally when he comes near him either
A) he hides behind me
B) squeezes my hand
C) hugs me tightly
D) jumps onto my back and doesn't get off until he leaves.
He literally cries because he's so scared of him now and he starts shaking when he sees him I feel bad because my boyfriend claims he "accidentally" hit and pushed my brother which he didn't but I love my boyfriend still

I'm not sure what to do, and I really love my brother but I hate seeing that they are ignoring each other

My question is should I break up with my boyfriend? I love them so much and I don't want to leave him but this was done purposely...

Say they have been acting weird to the point dating hadn't worked out bc of their behavior towards you , you thought the were playing games or hated you or just not intersted .

so do you want them To go through the trouble of arranging to talk , giving you along explaination.... Or would you prefer they say they are in love with you and leave it up to you whether you want to ask questions or have anything to do with then period?

Seems option A is easier nc it leaves it up to the other person whether or not they want to be bothered and in the event they don't you haven't bares your soul. Saying I'm in love is actually a lot less personal than explaining your behavior in my opinion.


I would rather just say one sentence and walk away and let them decide what they want to do rather than have a whole talk . Especially considering I probably wouldn't be trying to explain myself if I was not in love in the first place. so they would probably figure it out anyhow. At least if tell them I know directly if it bothers them and I don't feel like I'm Intruding by getting them to listen to things they may not care about and as I said it's just easier less personal. I'm not comfortable with intimate feelings do I probably assume others are not. My guess is how youd want things to go would depend a lot on how you feel about feelings.

Falling in love isn't such a big deal it's not the same as loving and I don't know why people me such a big deal about it. It's just intense feeling it's not an actual declaration of any intention.

anyhow bc it's easier and bc I'd rather do A than B, I think it's cowardly lol so I feel obligated to do A though I'd rather not.

I know if it was for me from them, id rather an explanation bc it means more plus it'll save me having to ask questions. ..... But as for me to them to me, i'd rather just say I'm in love bc it's simpler less putting myself
