Search Results: attracting the wrong girls

I have not been in a committed relationship for about half a year. I have made a concerted effort to be careful and selective about who I date, in attempt to learn from the past. I am recognizing that the girls who are most interested in me are not the ones I tend to focus my attention on. And, over the time, the girls I have felt most attracted to were not good partner choices for me. How about you, are you attracted to the wrong people?

Initially, I don't really find this girl THAT attractive. She's cute, yes, but nothing to write home about.

However, when around me, she'd always act a bit strange. Whenever she made eye contact with me, her face turned bright pink. And seeing her like that, I somehow became more attracted to her. In my mind, it made me want to defend and protect her, perhaps ask her what's wrong. But I didn't, as I feel it'd be awkward.

Whenever we work on school projects together, she's clearly super intelligent, but acts insecure around me. And when I tell her, her ideas are actually excellent, she looks super happy and blushes twice as much.

Seeing her blush so much... out of second hand embarrassment, I start to blush a bit too. 😂

I'm thinking on asking her out, as she seems like an excellent person, but I don't wanna come across as misreading her signs.

P. S- She's white, so blush shows up REALLY well on her, lol. She can't disguise it.
