Search Results: intelligence attractive

Please note this question isn't about making the world a more attractive place, so try not to think in terms of I find this more attractive or I find that more attractive. If you could only increase one of these two aspects of the world, which would you choose? Would you increase kindness in the world, or would you increase intelligence in the world?

Who can say why, but I find women who wear glasses extremely attractive. I know there's no correlation with people wearing glasses and intelligence (though there is between people who wear corrective lenses and reading), but I have to say I find it VERY attractive on a woman. My late wife wore glasses, but she was very self-conscious about wearing them and usually wore contacts. I told her I liked seeing her wearing glasses, to which she replied, "Yes, but you're weird. Most of the world isn't weird."

So, ladies, guys, do you find glasses a turn on, a turn off, or are you indifferent to them?

The technology is here, and the first genetically modified baby was born years ago I believe.

You are able to choose if your child has the intelligence to become a doctor, have blue eyes, blond hair, blue eyes, brown skin. If your child will be athletically gifted, and so on.

Is it wrong to you?

My opinion:

I used to think it was wrong, but now I think it's great.

To me, it's like what came first the chicken or the egg? People say you're not beautiful because you don't have "X" physical feature, or are/aren't "X" race, are unmotivated, or unintelligent therefore we don't find you attractive. So what's REALLY perpetuating what is "wrong"?

Not to mention, those who are unintelligent won't make it very far in this new world that requires it.
