Search Results: why guys don't make moves

I recently moved to a new country where i am working to look after children. I haven't made many friends in this country as i do not know how to or where to make them (and the only people who have wanted to try and be my friends are guys about 10-15 years older and i just dont want to be hanging out with that age group). Today i took my kids to the park where there was a guy with his younger sister. One of the kids i care for wanted to play with her and went up to her but when he got to her just stood and ran away (he got too scared to approch her), so i told the brother he wanted to play with her but was nervous. After that the brother spoke to me a bit (asking me where i was from, what i am doing here, why i came and spoke about the kids i look after and told me about his sister and how he is starting varsity soon). he then asked me if i had made friends and i was honest and said not people from this country but foreighners too which is difficult because they only here for a few months and leave (so they in and out all the time). He was a very nice guy and i enjoyed his company but we were interupted by his sisters friends mom who decided to speak with him. I was just standing by watching the kids and then when they finished speaking he had to leave but he came to me and handed me his number and said if I want to make a new friend to message him or if i ever end up where he is studying (he was studying in another town a few hours out) to text him. Do you think he actually wants me to text him or did he just give his number to me because he felt bad that i didn't have anyone (i don't want him to feel he has to speak to me or hang out just because i haven't found people in the area)? Also if he does want to actually hear back from me when should i text him (a day later or two?) and what should i say to him?

My friend and I have turned from good friends to best friends within the last year. But, things seem different from about Christmas of last year. He's always bringing up the fact that I don't give head (long story about why I don't) and we're always talking about sexual preferences (to which he always says he likes when girls make the first move). He remembers little things that some of my best girl friends dont even remember, sent me a picture of strip cards against humanity rules, and saves me from guys at the bar by pretending to be my boyfriend. We were in random conversation one time and asked if that thing from how i met my your mother (where a guy gets naked and waits on your bed for you) would work on me. There are other examples but that's what I can think of off the top of my head. I don't know what do you guys think? We were friends freshman year through junior year but got a lot closer senior year (correlating with the fact that I got better looking, is the only weird part about that). This all could be a coincidence and me looking too much into it but I'd rather know before I sleep over his house again after a party and not think anything of it when he wakes up in just his underwear the next morning. (but I guess sleeping in jeans sucks right?)

long story short is that a guy had intrest in me and i had intrest back. then he told me it wasn't going to work out so i decided not to waste anymore time trying to make something happen inbetween us. then as soon as he finds out (and god knows how he found out sins this new guy im seeing and him dosent even know eachother) im starting to having intrest for someone else he does everything he can in his power to make something happen inbetween us.

the thing now is that i dont even want to have anything to do with this guy relationship wise. im fine with chatting with him and stuff but thats it really. i just get a feeling that he's having a really hard deciding anything over all and is just going back and forth not knowing what he's actually doing. as i also said earlier, i have no intrest in him left and I've moved on from him. there's not going to be anything inbetween me and him and he's going to have to accept that. but i still feel like he thinks that there is a chance of something happening inbetween me and him and i think im actually going to lose it and yell at him if i find out thats the case.

should i just confront this guy? ask him if he actually think there is going to be something inbetween us?
