25 years as friends. then one day. poof. just stopped answering my texts. not one argument or warning. no calling me out. no telling me whats wrong.. everything was normal. then one day were not friends anymore. I have known him since we were in the navy together. we were close to best friends. at each others wedding.

to be honest I am pretty pissed off. how fuckin dare he do something like this. call me out, tell me whats wrong. argue with me, yell at me.. tell me you have a problem.. no he acts like everything is fine. I completely lost any desire to be friends with him now. what kind of a person could do this to their good friend? its completely heartless and selfish.

I really want to smash his window or punch him in the face. I only dream of talking to him again so I can tell him to fuck off. friendship is over. not coming back from this. I just want to get back at him somehow. would I be justified?

This was back in 2016 when I was working in retail. I keep thinking back on it, and I am still unsure if I made the right decision back then. I had a serious crush on this older girl, a coworker who I honestly did not know her age. She looked like she was late 20's. I later found out she was 37 and had multiple children of her own. No big deal to me. I still thought she was pretty

Anyways, I talked with her about her ex, I constantly asked her how her kids were doing. And on one occasion I gave her $20 when her car didn't start and she had to get it towed, and she cried. She wanted to pay me back when she got paid but I didn't want her to. I almost cried because she cried so hard. We became best friends, at least in my eyes. I genuinely wanted to know how her life was going, if she paid her bills yet, if her son was still sick, if her ex moved out or if they at least stopped arguing. We talked about life, she helped me through my issues and motivated me to get my voters card for the presidential election. After all that time I started developing feelings for her, and obviously I did not want her to find out. I was scared I would lose our friendship. But because of this I ended up just slowly drifting away and eventually just faded away from our friendship. I just kept distancing myself and talking to her less and hanging out. We never did anything outside of work, but at work we were so close. She recently sent me a friend request on Facebook, and I accepted it but I am to scared whether I should ever tell her why I had to end our friendship. Do you think I should tell her? Did I make the right call? Would she be mad to hear from me?

I never had a friendship with a girl as close as ours was, and I don't know what I I should do...
