I am a part of my college Enactus. It's a type of society. Today we were to give our T-shirts sizes. On WhatsApp the person in charge of the T-shirts gave the measurement scale and told to give sizes. Some people started giving it in the group itself which I found absurd. I texted the person who was in charge of the T-shirts personally to give my size because I felt that it was the right thing to do. Many people don't have profile pic or even name on the group and it would have been hard so personally texting could have made it much better and much cleaner as the other people won't be disturbed with the huge number of texts. I texted this thing in the group that people should do it personally as it will create a mess in the group. To which one member replied that group are made for discussing stuff like this. To which I replied "what stuff? The size of the tshirt of the girl who just told her size? or the amount of weight she has gained or lost?". The weight thing was because the person in charge of the T-shirt asked her to give correct measurements as it was final. To which the head of enactus society told me to just give my size and mute the conversation. This text by the head irritated the shit out of me. I felt that was unethical. After a few hours, the person in charge of tshirts made a Google form and asked to put the details on that because it was easier and cleaner and more details were to be filled in it so it was overall better. But by this time some people had already ignored this text and gave their measurements in the WhatsApp group itself.

So my question is was it unethical of me to propose not texting the measurements in the group which is made for discussing stuff?

Whenever I really like a girl & I wanna be with her
I drown her in compliments...
I don’t know why, it’s just kinda automatic...
I try to make them feel good about themselves

Even though it may not be completely true
i purposely try to boost their ego..
Even if they aren’t all that attractive I try to make them seem like they’re a billion times more attractive than they actually are...
I guess I do it because it makes them feel way more comfortable... like even when they’re looking pretty bad.. they’ll still feel good around you.. they won’t need to try so hard on their looks... maybe that’s where I’m messing up

& eventually they start getting a little cocky about it.. When I complimented my Ex... She was so used to getting complimented she never even thank me... Shed just say things like
“I know I am” when I called her pretty.

And she ended up leaving me..
i guess I put it in her head that she was out of my league.. & she left me.. without reason..
I tried to get back in contact with her recently.. I texted her told her that I missed her... she replied “bye” & blocked my number..

I’m thinking maybe I should stop doing it?
The girl I’m currently talking to just did the same thing
I've been drowning her in compliments for the past 2 weeks.. & she just said
“I know” when I called her cute

it it made me think of my ex..
