Search Results: how a guy treats his mother

So a little over a month ago I was feeling very neglected by a friend of mine, and had been for awhile. For a month we'd had barely any contact and he didn't seem to care much about making an effort to be my friend.

Now I understand him needing space, and I respect space and understand friendship, but a whole month? And every conversation we had was short and meaningless, and I was getting tired of not being treated very well by him and I felt a little pushed around.

So I sent him a message asking if we even were still friends, and if he wasn't going to put any effort into our friendship then I didn't want to be friends.

His reply was "I guess we shouldn't be friends."

I said, "Thanks" and then disconnected any communication I had with him. I was just put up with it!

But now I wonder if it was the right thing to do. I feel bad because he really liked my mom and she was like a mother figure to him and she looked at him like a son. So now I feel selfish too. I don't feel I have a right to put a stop to that.

But I don't to be treated crappy either.

And what would I say to be friends again? I wonder if he would even forgive me or want to be friends again. I don't really care to be friends with him but I feel like I should because of him and my mom and the mother son thing.

Or should I just message him saying that he owes it to my mom to see her if not me? Please help me guys!
