I was starting to talk to who I thought was a really nice girl, but despite how much she said she liked me, and all the stuff we planned, she made our first date super awkward and she said she had a bad migraine and cut the date early.
She said as I dropped her off she actually wasn't over her ex and wanted some time. She said she truly thought she was over it until we went out.
Our conversations became completely one sided and briefer and briefer. She said she'd let me know when she was ready and we didn't talk for 3 weeks.
Despite her ignoring my birthday last week, I messaged her and it's the same thing. She responds, but doesn't talk about me or ask about me.
She said she liked me and j wasn't a rebound...
Do I just cut my losses and stop talking to her?

I recently started talking to this girl, and was head over heals about her. When she was done with school, we were interested in being together, starting to meet the parents, sex, stuff like that. But then she said she needed some time, because despite how much she liked me, she needed to fully get over her ex.
Basically the guy dumped her because he didn't want to drive 3 hours to see her.
I was extremely disappointed, because I put so much effort into things and she's been very one sided and quiet since. We got into a conversation last night, and she made me mad, and I said what's going on isn't fair to me, because I put so much effort into planning things and getting time off, to not do anything with her and have her vent about her ex and talk to me about things I didn't want to hear.
I tried saying he missed out and she didn't do anything wrong, but I think I'm making things worse. She said she doesn't know when she'll be ready, but insists I'm the best guy she's met and would want to be with me but "things will work out as they need to"
At this point I'm just very mad and sad. Would giving her time be beneficial or should I just drop it an move on?

I added this really attractive girl a couple of months ago and we started talking regularly just starting off with 20 questions.
We talked about our prior relationships and we both said we were interested in one with each other. We started talking like a couple to each other and got deep and personal in our conversations.
She unfortunately lives 2 hours away and that was part of the reason her last relationship ended. But I offered to go see her 3 times but she was too busy in school. But I knew she was a real person because we went to high school together.
But we started counting down the days until to see each other. She randomly said there was something about her she needed to discuss with me in person.
When we got together she was very quiet, but she just said she had a migraine. But soon asked me to take her home. She told me on the way back she still needed time to get over her ex and she thought she was ready. But she clutched my had with both of my hands saying how great of a guy I was and how much she wanted to be with me.
She asked for the week to try to figure things out and barely spoke to me.
But she said she needed to find self love and confidence and wasn't ready to get into a relationship with anyone.
But I told her if and when things change, if she's still interested to let me know. All she said was 'ok' and we haven't spoken since.
We had an amazing emotional connection and I'm heartbroken... Is this done?
