My question is about friendship, and I believe is relevant for everyone.

Is real friendship possible between genders? I am not talking about friendship that could turn into romance or sex, but actual friendship where you trust that person and you feel safe with that person in being yourself with?

Have any of you experienced that?

Background:

A lot of my friends are girls. I have ZILCH guy friends now, all my army buddies are either dead or still in the forces and I have moved away.

So a lot of my friends through college to colleagues to lunch buddies are women, and general people I hang with.

NOW, is it possible for me to talk about my romances/sex life with a girl friend-friend (a girl who is a friend) without her judging me and warning ALL lady friends to watch out for me as jerk material?

Now I am talking NOT about things like strangling cats, or skinning virgins or kidnapping young underaged girls.

I am talking about things like:

1. Dating several girls at once as a strategy to avoid being hurt for emotional investment (to like not put all eggs in one basket kind of thing) and also because it is efficient in getting to know possible partners.

2. How women think and what my chances are with a particular woman.

3. Whether or not I am attractive as a man when I wear certain clothes or hairstyles.

4. My worries in life about careers or what choices I should make for business transactions.

5. How to break up with a girl amicably. etc

6. How dates and sexual escapades went.

Things like that.

I guess my question also is about friendship and judgement.
