I have only seriously used Bumble and OKCupid. I have tried Tinder, CMB, and POF for a day or two but they were terrible. So I deleted my accounts.

I know that Bumble has a feature like you can extend a match or rematch, or you can backtrack, or instead of swiping, you can see who liked you and decide whether you like them. All these features are for paid subscribers. Or OKC allows you to visit profiles without being seen (so yeah you can stalk the guy you date whether they are still using online dating). Or Tinder allows you to change your location if you pay.

I have never used but someone told me match. com does not allow you to message others, start a chat, or check who liked you, unless you pay. I checked for the paid subscription, it is ridiculously expensive. For example, match. com is like 23$ a month which is ridiculous.

I don't pay for any one of them. My OKC account is pretty much dead as I rarely access anyways. I use bumble once a week if I am really bored while pooping.

I am wondering if anyone used or consider to use paid subscription to any dating tools/websites. Why or why not?

today my boyfriend came over since we haven't seen each other for a week (ive been busy) and we talk about our week, work, university studies, etc
and then he said he wanted a second job to save up more money. he wanted a job at this big supermarket here but there are heaps in different locations and he doesn't mind which one. and randomly i said "imagine your ex girlfriend works at that supermarket'" and he laughed and said "she actually does. but she works at a different location" and i said as a joke "ooo maybe we should go there. pay her visit" and then he looked surprised and was kinda happy about it and said "omg babe lets go. i had actually thought about it but never asked you because u would think bad about it or maybe think i was showing off. but since u brought it up, if u wanna go, we can. i would so go" and he laughs. and then i was abit skeptical and said "why did u thought of it anyway? did u want to see her?" and he said "no, i just like to annoy people and she's the type that doesn't want someone else to be happier and u know me, i like to annoy people"
A little background info: Him and his ex were only together 2/3 months until she left him for another guy. They dated 3 years ago.
So question is... why do u think he thought of it? why do u think he was keen to go? is it coz he wanted to see her? show me off? show her that he's got a gf? or something else?
And should we go there?
