I read somewhere that part of the reason women are having such a hard time finding decent men is because we as women don't demand that they treat us right. Like say after 2 weeks of dating that a guy wanted sex and the girl didn't. If he announced he was no longer interested, then she'd have sex with him to keep him interested instead of taking it as the red flag that it is: he just wants sex. Basically they were saying that we as women don't treat sex as a luxury anymore when it actually is in a relationship. Instead, we hand it out like candy which is why men no longer feel the need to value us for our personality or other offerings. I don't have the article though because I read it at the library.

So what do you think? Is the reason dating is so difficult these days because women don't make men value them as people?

Okay, so I recently started kind of liking this guy. He's a year younger than me and if we were older then I wouldn't mind but we're in high school. And that's a really big difference because if I graduate than he would still be in high school so it's kinda weird. Also, I'm afraid people will be really judgmental and make fun of me. We've been friends for years and I've never thought more until recently when he started kind of flirting with me. So I don't really know. I need advice and it would be really helpful if you guys could maybe share with me some of your personal stories.
