I've been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for 4 years (we live an hour apart) and we've had our ups & downs. Months ago, a woman we both knew from high school wrote on his fb wall for his birthday saying very friendly & chummy stuff about him on his wall, indicating they had a close friendship. I knew about all his other friends, male/female, but I never knew he associated with her, because he never mentioned her to me.

A week later, I saw incoming text message from this same woman (couldn't read what it said) and I comfronted my boyfriend about it, he just blew it off. He asked me if I wanted him to delete her off his fb page to prove he's faithful. I told him it wouldn't matter, because even if he deleted her to appease me, the truth will come out eventually. He remained friends with her on FB months afterward. So I began watching her page, to see if they're were any signs of a relationship between the two. Yesterday, I discovered, the two of them were no longer friends on FB, which must have happened recently because last week they were friends on FB. In the past, I've caught him red handed, telling people he's single, when in fact he told me, I was his one & only girlfriend in his life, since we been together for the past 4 years.

Im tempted to send her friend request, to see if she'll accept it & I can find any evidence from her page they were more than friends. But I don't feel comfortable doing this, especially since my boyfriend and I are trying to make our relationship better. What should I do?

I've been with my beau for close to 8 months now. We hang out every weekend, and we've met most of one another's families. We've made love many, many times, but for the past couple of months, I've felt as though he isn't satisfied with our relationship or me. He doesn't let me look at his cell phone and gets in a fury if I even ask, he recently took to wearing cologne at work, doesn't wear any of the jewelry I gave him (even though he used to a few months ago), and I recently found out that he has talked to a couple of his female friends about how "difficult" I am to deal with. He makes me out to be the bad guy if we get in arguments and makes his one friend in particular have this idea that I'm a blatantly rude person, leaving out nearly every crucial detail as to why I was upset and making himself out to be an innocent victim. As a result of this, I confronted the girl via text (I should mention we are friends, but she never really talks to me outside of when we hang out with his boyfriend and her as a big group). Long story short she said how perfect she thinks my boyfriend is and how I don't recognize how much I love him or show my appreciation enough, and that I don't do enough for him. When I told him about this, he kept listing the reasons why she could've said such offensive things to me and told me to disregard what she said, and to just go back to the way things were. I feel like him taking her side and her defending him is a huge sign of infidelity. But I don't want to assume anything. Advice would be greatly appreciated.
