Search Results: what is my fashion style dress

It is interesting to me when I (quite innocently) find myself reading something about women's fashion that claims something like "6 things to wear to impress a guy" or anything similar.

Obviously style is a matter of opinion. But when I see these articles I am generally struck by how UN-attractive the suggestions are. Most (all in fact) of the males I have asked agree that their tastes are very different then what women are told their tastes are.

There's a song the name of which escapes me that contains a line "All ladies out dressed for each other"

Which makes me wonder then. Is that true?

Who dresses for whom usually? If you asked your SO to dress you would it change much from how you look already?

Do men dress to impress women or other men? and vice versa.

What do you think?

I happen across fashion magazines from time to time and see how much young women obsess on hairstyles makeup and clothing. do they go through all this to impress men, or do they really doing to compete with other women as men would in sports? I have not met many men who really care all that much about makeup hairstyles and clothes on women so long as neat and well looked after. I know this should probably be in style or behavior but more people go here then go to those forums.
