When I was a kid, whenever my Mom's friends or sisters would come over to our place to talk and hangout, my Dad would leave the house for hours and then come back when all of my Mom's friends and sisters wenre gone. As a kid, I never understood why he would do that... but, as a 25 year old, I now understand!

When I go out to clubs, bars and just explore the nightlife... I find that women become extremely annoying, judgmental and hypocritical when they are together, drinking and having a good time. I also have quite a few women on my snapchat... and seeing the videos they post when they are alone versus when with their friends... it just blows my mind.

So my good friend and our mutual guy friend asked me to go camping this summer with them. My mutual friend is dating an ex of mine and I thought it be awkward since she still talks about me when she's tipsy "about how nice and sweet" I am. My good friends girl friend says I'm full of shit because I said in college id always be with beautiful woman, but thought it was sweet I would talk about them and say things like "gorgeous or amazing".

i didn't want to go camping alone so I contacted one of my old college crushes/friends with benefits (she didn't want to commit). She said she'd go camping with us and i drove to pick her up a few hours away.

my old college fb is a tall slender yet gorgeous Hispanic woman with long soft curls and although in her Late 20s she looks 19. We both speak Spanish also we met at a Mexican culture club in college and hit it off.

anyways throughly college other girls were threaten of her and would ostrecise her at parties. This was around the time that people started posting things on Facebook "don't make her jealous make other girls jealous of her". So I would put on slow romantic music and slow dance with her at parties and kiss her while most girls boy friends were too busy getting wasted.

so when we get to the camp ground I had already made a plan. Instead of beer I brought wine and had "our song" on my iPod to play later that night. Through out the day my guy friends were nice to her (she's gorgeous can't blame them) while their girl friends are distant and I can tell are being "nice" to her (like in college).

later at night we are sitting around the camp fire all drinking. They have beer and cheap liquor we have wine. I make sure to whisper in her ear in Spanish "I want to make them jealous of you" and by then I guess the alcohol had made us lose inhibitions and our song. Wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton came on. We slow danced and we spoke in Spanish I told her

The title says it all. So my perception of a party is not just like a club full of mostly strangers, where you just drink away, get drunk, smoke, hook up, and have sex. That seems too ghetto and of bad influence, and more for young High Schoolers who wanna look cool. My perception is more or less the same I had as a child. With just a place where you hang out of friends, and have music, dancing, games, decorations, maybe balloons, food, sweets, and drinks. And make the music louder, and have some alcohol, so that it doesn't seem TOO childish. But not enough alcohol to get wasted or drunk. And just in between friends, not hundreds of random strangers. Anyways, that's my perception of a party. The idea of a party going from completely innocent as a child, to just a complete drinking fest as an adult, just sounds messed up to me. So why not something more or less in the middle? I only went to one of the "popular sterotypical drinking parties" when I was depressed once, but that was it. And I didn't like it very much. And you get the point. So anyone have more or less the same perception of a party as me? Probably nobody, I'm probably just weird and will get a landslide of "no's", but let's give it a shot to see.
