For a long time I had such a negative outlook on relationships because of how unpleasant my parents made being in one seem. I always thought, "All the fighting, the jealousy, and everything else in between just isn't worth it." And for that reason, I have never been in a serious relationship. Well, that's changed now. I've recently become more open to the idea of a relationship, meaning I no longer think being in a relationship would be all that terrible.

HSo, when I was ten years old my dad traveled out of state for a few months. During this time me, my little sister, older sister and mom got our own little house in a great neighborhood. And a few weeks later after moving in, we got our first dog. I remember it was quite peaceful, and every day was a new adventure. When my parents lived together before there was a lot of fighting, arguing and the house had this tension but once he left I noticed the house felt different and my mom was more calm and quiet. Days went by fast because I had school and me and the dog would go on a lot of adventures outside. I was going outside more, and it was a lot more fun. My dad came back, and we moved into our new house and I still preferred living with my older sister and her dog or it didn't really matter to me if I lived with my parents or her. Even when I traveled with my sister after a while I didn't miss my mother either but was excited to see her again. is this bad?
