My friend and I both like one another, but since he has the habit of getting shy around his crushes he was doing that with me too, and sometimes to encourage him I would try to make him jealous. One time I did it by flirting with his friends and saying hi to them and ignored him, and he ended up ignoring me for a little while.

Anyways, I slowly began talking to him for the past week and a half, but he still seemed a little shy, so on the last day of break, we had a test so I went up to his friend and playfully asked his friend "Ready to fail this test?" and he was there and just watched, I got a little touchy and began a little bit of flirting with his friend and he just watched, and I just ignored him, and when I went back to my seat his eyes seemed a little watery, his friend even noticed and asked if he was tired and he said he was "tired." Anyways, throughout the test his eyes seemed to get even waterier, and when the test was over he put his head down and I could hear him sniffling (he doesn't have a cold), and when he put his head up it looked like he just cried. He asked his friend if they could "talk," and every time he tried smiling his mouth automatically put on a frown face. What I don't understand, however, is why he cracked today, I've did it a few times before, and he seemed a little more quieter, but he didn't cry. So why today?
