I have a crush on an upperclassman?

Hello! For starters, thank you for taking the time to read this, I'll keep it short and sweet.

I am a competitive swimmer (freshman) and there is this junior that I occasionally get rides to practice with. I got out of a really bad relationship a few month ago (boy ended up getting expelled for attempting to assault another girl afterwards) and really do not want a relationship. This boy is super sweet and is willing to drive me to practice even on short notice. He generally starts the conversations and sometimes (maybe I'm being overzealous) appears a bit nervous at times (fidgets with cords and whatnot). For some reason, I've started to have a bit of a crush on him. I really don't think it's a great idea for me to do that, but I was wondering what I should do. Thank you so much for reading this!!!

I'm asking what I should do, and no I cannot get a different ride (only person that lives near and parents work, I do not have a license)

how long have you taken off from dating? You should take a break if last relationship was bad. I know the temptation to fill the void and feel the crush, andwhat I say won't stop you. But...

under 18 is a problem if it gets physical since he is over 18, right? If he is under 18 then ok fine.

there is no way around boy and girl bonding. if you can't handle that, don't ride with him right now.
