Search Results: good songs or bands

He doesn't really listen to music often anymore, but this was one of his favorite bands a couple of years ago. The problem is... my version won't sound like the original song at all! I can't play the guitar, so I'd have a piano accompaniment and my voice may sound too clean for the song (I tend to pronounce vowels too much like a classical singer, I'll try to work on that, but generally speaking, my voice is more like the voice of Kate Bush, for example). Do you think he would still like it? And not because it's nice of me to think of him, I just want to know if he may be bothered by it not sounding like the original. I have other options too, so please be honest, tell me what you would think if your girlfriend/boyfriend did something similar for you! :)

It'll probably turn out to be a recorded version though, I'm afraid my voice will let me down if I have to sing for him in person. xD And I'm not good at playing the piano and singing at the same time, so yeah.
