Search Results: how long to wait before asking out

I know I've been posting lots of q's about my situation, but please bear with me.
I have feelings for a close friend, but I think he only sees me as a friend. (Friends kiss friends on the shoulder, right?) He and I are almost like best friends, we text everyday, hang out, study, bring each other food when we're busy, and lately we've been seeing each other almost everyday. We also had dinner at a fancy place on my birthday last week (we'd been to dinner before but not as romantic).
So, I have a dilemma. Men have been asking me out but I've been putting them on hold - which I know is bad - because I don't usually date others while I'm close and in love with someone already. My bestie says I need to see other people for a while, my aunt says it's not right to be seeing other people while I'm in a "situationship" with someone else, and another friend tells me to completely move on (but she's been against him/me since the beginning so...) My older, best guy friend says if it were him he'd want me to tell him how I feel before seeing other guys because he may feel the same way and would feel hurt if I started seeing people without telling him.
Who's advice should I take? In my last post, most people picked "move on", but I feel like your opinions - as well as that of my friend who tells me to move on - are based on the one boundary we have. So, this time, I won't write about that "boundary" and to those who read my last post, I'd apprecitate it if you could ignore that fact before voting/commenting your opinions (if you plan to).

My heart tells me to let things be and to not care if I'm in a complicated "situationship", as long as he and I are both happy. Which we are.
My head tells me to wake up and listen to my friend who tells me to move on
My gut tells me to see these other guys just to give him a wake up call that i'm not gonna wait around
And a tiny part of me thinks it wouldn't be too bad to confess. I'm just afraid.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year. He says I’m his best friend and the best girlfriend he’s ever had.

He works a lot, like a lot, and I love seeing him but I want to see too much of him.

A few days ago I started a fight with him because he took too long to clean his place and wasn’t able to spend as much time with me as I would have liked. He apologized and said he’d make it up to me but I didn’t care and bitched him out about it. Even insinuating a break up because of he can’t manage his time.

The night before he was upset that he didn’t have time for himself so I know not having his free time has been bothering him.

The fight I started resulted in him breaking up with me. That’s not what I wanted and I begged him to stay. He’s my first love and I don’t want him to go. He started to tell me how I was amazing and how I deserve better but I know he was just trying to let me down easy. I was a huge jerk and I realize that now. He text me the next day and asked how I was. I told his I was okay and thanks for asking. He replied that he loved and cared about me and that he was sorry for any pain he’s cause. Since he was at work at the time I didn’t reply back. And now its been 3 days and I haven’t heard from him.

I realize that I’ve been selfish and not giving him space so I don’t want to bother him. I want him back but I don’t want to push him away.

I still haven’t properly apologized and I really do what too because he deserves it and I love him. I just don’t know what to do. Should I wait till he contacts me again? Or should I give it a week or two and reach out? I made a mistake and I don’t want to lose him over it. Help!

So my boyfriend and I have some communication issues, and I frequently feel as though I'm putting in more effort than he is anymore... we had an argument over the weekend that blew up way bigger than it should have, it started earlier in the week over something stupid and he chose to try and argue with me about it over text while I was sick in bed with a stomach bug... (he was aware of this) finally that calms down not resolved still though, then over the weekend we had plans to attend a baby shower for my sister (note he's known about this for at least a few months) and he decides the day before that he wants to cancel on me and not go. why? he works till 4am the morning before and won't get enough sleep (we don't need to start driving till noon and he can sleep in the car so he'd get 6ish hours of sleep) Now note there have been multiple occasions in the past that I've worked till 6-7am gone home slept till noon (4-5ish hours sleep) then driven an hour to go see him stayed with him till 3am then driven an hour back home no complaint. I would never even consider asking him to do something I wouldn't do for him... He decides to get his roommates opinion and she says that I am asking WAY too much of him and shouldn't have even thought of inviting him when he has work the night before! (also note he gets PTO hours and could have used a couple so he'd get a little more sleep, I also offered he could sleep at my place which is closer to his work and our destination, and offered to pick him up from his place) He ends up deciding to stay awake and just drink energy drinks through the whole thing... Long story short a couple days after the shower we go out for a date and end up in a big blow up over something small and he throws all of this as well as many other things that he had never mentioned any issue with in the past into my face. he then drove me home and stormed off. He hasn't spoken to me since. Parents say I should wait for him to text me, my friend disagrees
