Met him while working with friends for an event... actually it was his friend that step to me... not being in the mood to be practice for a player... I shut him down. Well he step in saying that no way to talk to people and began to try and smooth talk his way in... I wasn't haven't it. But somehow caught me off guard by suggesting that couldn't remember his number if he gave it to me because he know I wasn't going to give him mine. He turned it into a game rather than a pursuit. I fell for it ( smh) Damn!!2 weeks later at home nothing to do... I remembered the number.. thought I'd call see where his head was at... and if it wasn't nowhere nice... No love lost... keep it moving Well he was pleasant and convo surprisingly refreshing yet still reluctant wondering when the other shoe would drop.
Through the following weeks he texted cute little good morning quote every morning and after a month past I worked another event that he attended. this was a second chance to get a better look at him and decide to ask him if he would like to hang out once I finished working... He agreed. I he was a perfect gentleman... opening doors pulling out chairs and paying for meals... I was impressed but not to much... weeks followed and we would meet again this time he claim he was going shopping for himself and wanted me to come along... thinking this might be fun.. I join him.. just discover he was taking me on a shopping spree. again I was taken off guard and honestly thus has never happen to me... So I'm suspicious ( stupid. Maybe) what does he want from me? Is he trying to buy me? I was uncomfortable.. not to make him feel bad I pick out one item though he insisted I get more but I wasn't comfortable. We started dating and it was fun but then he started giving me an allowance no less then 200 a week he said it was for myself to whatever I wanted and if needed anything don't hesitate to ask. I had to ask him why just meeting me he's So giving? He said he was protecting his investm

Or do they just do it to show off to other guys that they are in control of the relationship instead of being known as 'whipped'?

I don't mind dominance in bed as long as I can be dominant too, which is currently an issue with my boyfriend at the moment as he always wants to take charge. Like I can have my way with him for at least 10 minutes until he decides 'right, now it's my turn' and takes over for however long it lasts.

When it comes to shopping, he is a total gentleman but still asserts dominance by making sure I don't overspend on stuff I don't need but just have to have. He would literally pull at my arm (in a playful way!) to get me away from the shoes!

I noticed a week ago on train that the guy who was sat across from me kept taking glances at me and I know my boyfriend saw this too. I saw from the reflection of the window that the guy was looking at me, my boyfriend noticed so he held my hand and looked at him as if to say I was his and that's when he stopped taking glances.

Well my friend asked me if I'm available to hangout this week and go clubbing and drink. I don't know if I can because I got to study for finals and I'm booked today and tomorrow plus I'm not sure about Friday . Plus she asked me if I'll be able to pay her $50. I told her I don't know if I can. I'm very tired with money and I got to do some Christmas shopping. Last month, she sold me three things: a dress for $15, a purse for $20 (the purse she got was $70 but never used it), and another dress for $15. I paid her last month and I don't know if I can this month unless I pay her half. She told me that I can pay her whenever like whenever I get the money. I only have $120 left so yeah. What should I do. She only invited ME and not everyone else because everyone else is busy with their lives and two of them are married. So we're the only single ladies.
Plus she's leaving for a trip in a few weeks.

My other friend told me that I'm taking advantage of my friend by not paying her and I need to stop extending myself and pay her immediately. I can still pay her and not go clubbing. I'm not taken advantage.

I think I have an addiction !!! :O I especially love to go with my wonderful bf becoz he buys me whatever I like :P
