So my boyfriend of 6 months and I, both have anxiety and, the past month, our anxiety has been mutually high which increased our fighting. The other day when he was coming to see me, he said his ex girlfriend of two years popped up in his mind. He says he doesn't know why, he hasn't talked to her in a good 5-6 months, and they've been broken up a year. They were long distance with strict parents, and they'd only ever gone out in person once. She sent him a message after we'd gotten together saying she still loved him but he shrugged it off. He wanted a break because of all our fighting and he needs to know why these feelings came into his mind again. He says he's insanely in love with me, but wants to talk to her to see how he feels. He came over today, despite the break and kissed me, and said he knows he's still in love with me but needs time. I know more about his past than she does. He was kicked out shortly after they broke up, and he's a changed person she doesn't know anymore. Should I even believe we have a chance? I love him very much. Random tidbit of info: we were long distance for 4 of our 6 months.

I'm 17. my mum has anger management problems so she's angry over the SLIGHTEST things. once i was busy using my phone (and when you are focussed you obviously can't hear your surroundings) so she called me and i didn't answer. then she said I'm a rude person who ignores her and got super angry, slamming cabinets and doors and screaming. I'm only 17 and I've been dealing with this since forever. i really don't think it's a good environment for me because whenever this happens, i feel so lonely and scared and sad and i start missing my ex WHO CHEATED because he used to be here for me whenever stuff like this happened. i want to stop feeling this way. also, my dad doesn't spend much time with her because he obviously doesn't like spending time with her and they fight over this a lot. it's obvious my mum has needs and my dad refuses to meet them, so they should obviously part ways? but they dont. so if i can, i really want to move out. does it make me an unfilial child? i just really feel like i want to live in a better environment but people might be like "come on its just fightings, it doesn't kill you".

Long story short. It's my friends aunts wedding that's tomorrow. I have been friends with my friend for 3 years now. I'm pretty positive we are both sick of each other because for the past two weeks I've been at her house everyday and all we've been doing is fighting over every little thing. She is not willing to put her differences aside at the wedding because she thinks I'm a bitch. It's not her day, it's her aunts. She is always being bossy and telling me what to do and putting me down and I fight back and it blows up. Her parents are sick of all the fighting. She did apologize but said she can't promise that we won't fight. Her aunt thinks we should both go and ignore each other. I don't think that's possible because now she's not replying to texts and she's having a meltdown at her house (her sister said she's screaming and crying). She did say she doesn't want to go and that will solve the problem and I told her I won't go because it's her family and it won't make much of a difference and she said I'm a fucking bitch and she doesn't want to be friends anymore. Then stopped replying to me. Her aunt is aware of the situation and said it's fine if I don't go, she doesn't want a fight to blow out and ruin everything. She would like us both to go but...
im sure she will tell her aunt a bunch of lies about what happened to make me look bad. I know that there is assigned seating and they probably had to pay extra for me to go but I don't know if I should? Would you?

actually he's an ex, but i was just wondering. my family is really unstable and my parents are always fighting. the loud slams of the door or shoutings and throwing things still scare me even though I've been living with it for very long. whenever it happens, I'll get really scared, angry and sad that my family is like this and i can't have a peaceful and happy family. when that happens, i used to always rant to my boyfriend and text him things like "my parents are fighting again". or when my mum has her mood swings and take it out on me, I'll text him things like "i hate my life". even though im not diagnosed with clinical depression, i know I've been suicidal at times and at those times, i used to text him things like "i want to kill myself" because i really needed someone for me. most of the time he tries to comfort me. but there are also many instances where he didn't say anything or totally ignored what i texted him. when that happens, i usually get really angry and scold him. i used to think it's his fault for not caring about me. but a few days ago i ranted to a guy that im dating and he told me "I'm not your therapist". so it hit me really hard. was it my fault for ranting to him? i didn't rant very often by the way, maybe twice a week. sometimes i dont tell him when shit happens. i feel that if the person i love ranted to me everyday, i wouldn't mind and i would be here for him to listen and to give him advice. but is it wrong to expect the person im with to do the same thing back?
