So there is a girl I like. We went out on a date, hit it off well, she asked me on a second date and then hugged me before we left. I called later that night to tell her I had a good time and she answered. Tried texting her the next day just to get the conversation moving, and she never responded. Two days later I saw her at her work (I recently switched dentist and she is one of the hygienist that works there). She acted okay, just a little off compared to the date night. I presented her with a little silly gift (a tiny minion plush since she mentioned she was obsessed with them on our date), and she acted much nicer. The next day I saw her again as I got my teeth whitened by her. I asked if I had done something wrong and she said I hadn't done anything wrong, I was just a little pushy. I apologized for coming off a little too eager too quickly and if she would be interested in grabbing coffee/lunch sometime. She said she would but she was already seeing someone else. I then overheard her talking in the back to one of her coworkers and apparently this guy was her new boyfriend. So why would she tell me she is just seeing someone else, then tell someone out of earshot that it is her boyfriend? After I apologized, she was far nicer to me and we actually joked and cut up just like our date night. I did leave a tiny flower for her to find, which she did but didn't mention it to me, before I left. So I guess my question is pretty obvious by the title. I am backing off to let the proverbial dust settle for at least a week, before seeing if maybe she would be interested in at least keeping the lines of communication open. So what do you guys and gals think? I am also not going to be sitting around and just waiting for her, as I do have several other dates set up. So let's fire this bad boy up and get some opinions going. And GO!

Just an added note. The next I will see her for sure will be 6 months for my next cleaning (maybe some hope then?)

After a year of her living with me she got pregnant. I was driving her to beauty collage 5 days a week and she had a night job at Walmart after school. She was pregnant in top of this. So we only saw each other during my2hour break, i worked a job I hated, split shifts 6 days a week, I thought she was happy, I loved her with all my heart, she was my world, and I was so happy about being a dad. All of the sudden she starts treating me like crap, says we need some time apart! I knew that was bull, people told me she was cheating if she said that, but she was 5 or 6 months pregnant. I defended her every time. No one could be that fucked up! I was an amazing spouce, I went to jail and caught some felony charges for her, made her realize she was better than those who put her down, built her up in every way possible! She doesn't drive, so I drove here every where. And let her friend tiff, move in to my house! On fathers day, while still pregnant with my daughter, she says there going to the mall to get me a fathers day gift. She went and fucked this dude she had been working with. Come to find out she had been for a couple of weeks. I never knew till 4 years later. Then all of the sudden, she's back to normal. And I propose to her at one of our baby showers. And she said yes! Still never told me. Oh by the way, before we ever got into a realionship I have her the run down, I'd never make you do anything, your an adult, I'll pretty much put up with anything we go threw and I'll always be faithful and have your back above all others, 1 thing I won't/can't handle is you cheating on me. If your going to have enough respect for me to tell me so we can go our seprit ways. Cause I would never hurt you like that. And she agreed with love. We got married and had another kid b4 she ever told me. I love this girl so much, I wish she told me back then, I would have kicked her out. I sent a friend of mine a gift to her flat at college after I had checked it was OK mail her. It was a book I thought shed like to read. I told her it was coming and it was signed for by the hall porter on Saturday. I text her to ask if she got it OK and she said she hadn't, I text her the next day still nothing, I asked her Monday nothing. I texted her the tracking details on Tuesday night and she said shed go down and ask the porter on Wednesday and let me know. I messaged her on FB on Wednesday night to check and she didn't reply. I accidentally texted her this morning but got the wrong contact in my phone. She text immediately and said "Wrong number :)" so out of curiousity I text back any news on the parcel? No response! She has been online since and hasn't even looked at my message. What is going on why reply to a mis text but not to my yes/no about the package? Is it weird or just me?
