I am getting married soon and thinking about having children, but not too soon. I love children so much, my fiance too, but I don't want to be romanticizing about it. Having children is a big responsibility and I want to do it right.
From your experience what are the reasons not to have children and what are the reasons to have them.

Not that I'm getting married any time soon (not even engaged) but I'm just curious to what people think?
On one hand I want a beautiful princess dress for the perfect day but it also seems silly to spend an excessive amount on one piece of clothing you'd only wear once for one night?

We always talked about starting a family and he has started those conversations himself but a few months after the wedding he has been saying it would be good not to have babies as they'll just make it too hard. He went and bought a convertible without discussing it first last week and just brushed it off when I got upset he made such a big decision with our money without talking to me first.

I came right out and asked about starting to try for a baby but he just laughed and walked away. I don't understand what's changed or why he would be acting like this so soon after we get married.
Do I give it more time or leave?
