Amanda was quite angry and fed up with able and one day she called him stupid, slapped him across the face, punched him in the stomach, and chest. The reason I'm still upset with my bf's mother is because she took her anger at me long ago. I was only 10 years old (I'm now 19) and she slapped me. That was done because for the longest she blamed my long deceased mother for something she didn't do.

She just found out very recently that my mother's own sister was behind all this. My aunt framed my mom after her death. As a result, I got the blame too, that woman banned us from ever seeing each other for years and my reputation was ruined ever since. That woman kept gossiping terrible things aboug my mother and me for all those 9 years.

Though she personally came to apologize for everything, I'm still upset and haven't forgiven her completely. The main reason is because she's only sorry just because she found out my mother was innocent. How about, being sorry for venting your hatred on an innocent child even if my mother had been guilty?

My boyfriend and I've been together for nearly 3 years. We rarely argument (if so, he steps out and comes back later on) and everything's going good.

Now I'm going to briefly explain where does the hitting part comes. Many times when he surprises me (ex: I can be in the kitchen), we're in bed or just walking out he slaps my bottom. It can range from mild to average all the way to hard and sometimes I get a couple bruises as a result. Thing is I don't really mind. It can only be done by him though; if it's some random guy, he can get either a punch or a nasty suki-nage (I know how to fight, lol).

However, my closest friend Tiffany one day caught this as we were hanging out and didn't like it. He slapped the right side twice and it was hard (it was bruised the next day). She was shocked that I was ok with it. She kept saying how she doesn't think that was right, that it's hitting, etc.

In my view, hitting your partner (in a real DV situation) is when you take your anger on someone, it's unexpected and usually it's not done on the bottom. I've never been with a violent guy and if that were the case, before the cops even show up only one person would be found on the floor seeing stars in the head and that wouldn't be me.
