Search Results: should we break up marriage

Imagine the following:

1. You've been together for 6 months or longer
2. You're deeply in love and have never felt this way before
3. The relationship is practically perfect besides this
4. You want children and he/she doesn't - They are "unsure" but say they will probably never change their mind. You can't imagine ever being happy without them in your life.
5. You want marriage and he/she doesn't - It is something you could think about compromising on. Children are the important thing to you.
6. The last time you talked about it he/she said they were unsure about marriage but wanted a child one day (a girl).
7. Now they say they don't want marriage and they're unsure about children. It's not something they want right now but who knows what they will want in the future.
8. They say they need time to think about it all and work out if you should break up. He/she says they would rather break up than do something they don't want to. Even if they love you it's not enough when it comes to both of your views.

Do you stay with them and hope they change their mind or break up before you get any more attached? What if you break up and they change their mind too late? What if you stick with them and they never change their mind?
