So my good friend and our mutual guy friend asked me to go camping this summer with them. My mutual friend is dating an ex of mine and I thought it be awkward since she still talks about me when she's tipsy "about how nice and sweet" I am. My good friends girl friend says I'm full of shit because I said in college id always be with beautiful woman, but thought it was sweet I would talk about them and say things like "gorgeous or amazing".

i didn't want to go camping alone so I contacted one of my old college crushes/friends with benefits (she didn't want to commit). She said she'd go camping with us and i drove to pick her up a few hours away.

my old college fb is a tall slender yet gorgeous Hispanic woman with long soft curls and although in her Late 20s she looks 19. We both speak Spanish also we met at a Mexican culture club in college and hit it off.

anyways throughly college other girls were threaten of her and would ostrecise her at parties. This was around the time that people started posting things on Facebook "don't make her jealous make other girls jealous of her". So I would put on slow romantic music and slow dance with her at parties and kiss her while most girls boy friends were too busy getting wasted.

so when we get to the camp ground I had already made a plan. Instead of beer I brought wine and had "our song" on my iPod to play later that night. Through out the day my guy friends were nice to her (she's gorgeous can't blame them) while their girl friends are distant and I can tell are being "nice" to her (like in college).

later at night we are sitting around the camp fire all drinking. They have beer and cheap liquor we have wine. I make sure to whisper in her ear in Spanish "I want to make them jealous of you" and by then I guess the alcohol had made us lose inhibitions and our song. Wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton came on. We slow danced and we spoke in Spanish I told her

We went to high school together and we only talked in class. Well we go to the same college, and since we moved in 4 weeks ago we have been hanging out 3-5 days a week. I haven't made a move because I am very awkward when it comes to this stuff, and I was shocked this beautiful popular girl kept trying to hang out everyday (not putting myself down, just saying). Anyway, I realize I am falling for her. Problem is, we have developed a very good friendship. I feel that she has gotten very comfortable around me, and alhtough she sometimes gives hints, (the first couple weeks we hung out), I might be in the friendzone. She sits next to me instead of across at dinner, she takes snap chats with me, she says I need to take her to this dance, we hang out in eachothers rooms, etc. So I think I am in the friendzone, and I want to get out. Lately I have been trying to make more physical contact, like touching the arm, and teasing her. Today after we go to the gym I was planning on saying.

SHOULD I SAY THIS?
"Well name (while putting my hand on her shoulder), even if we are killing our arms and legs, you're always the highlight of my day."

We were acquaintances in high school then we went to the same university this year and ever since move in about 4 weeks ago we see each other almost everyday. In my opinion, she is either attracted to me or I am very deep in the friend zone. She usually texts me first, invites me to go with her to different events and socials, and we tease each other a bit. She is also VERY extrovert and social, so I don't know if maybe she just acts like this around everyone. We do hang out a lot though, and go to the gym together.

*I don't know how to explain it, but we she kind invites me to go to a lot of things with her, even when she is hanging out with her girlfriends at night. Or a few days ago she took me to a potluck were people she went to a camp with were getting together. She even mentioned a dance thing that my college is having, and said we need to go together, and I need to ask her. Am I her wing man or is she interested?

Long story short:
I have a crush on a girl. I confessed it to her long back, said she was okay with it. Went to a dance date too, so I thought she might take things seriously. However it has been downhill since then, she almost never tries to initiate a conversation, nor hang out with me in particular.
From time to time, I still drop hints that I really like her. But she always seems too busy with her friends or has little to say when we get time together. I still haven't seen any strong indication from her side that she too likes me back. The feedback is making me more distanced from her. Today she even mocked my feelings for her on a post reply online (on FB), not in a crude negative way but like "aww... -_- "
Should I just stop trying to interact with her? Just long enough that she tries to initiate a good conversation?
Or should I just forget her and move on? (Would be really sad but then again, nothing positive happening for me right now...)

Got kissed on the cheek 3x after a sensual bachata dance with girls I'd never danced with before. I dance very respectfully and asses a girls ability and comfort level first by holding hands only at the start of the dance and wait for her to move in closer and jam my leg between her knees before getting more intimate. I also make a point of looking at my dance partner and make her the centre of my attention when we dance with well timed back rolls if she has the ability and long hair to toss around :) So why did the girls peck me on the cheek and not just say thank you after the dance.

Is a peck on the cheek the new norm or were they saying I like you?
