This guy and I hooked up once before I messed up and called it a mistake which I didn't mean and I apologized. He says he just wants to be friends which I can respect even though I would like more I know that's not going to happen. The problem I'm having though is that he says he wants to be friends but will ignore the hell out of me most of the time not even saying him back when I see him around. If he doesn't want friendship he needs to just man up and tell me. So my friend told me I should write a note of sorts and let him reflect on it or I could risk the best friend bitch out since he is a mutual friend of ours but much closer to him.

The "note" would go like... "Look, I will be honest and upfront with you. You know that I like you and I'm sure you know that it hurt when you said that you didn't want to give me another shot. But I don't understand why you are being so hot and cold with me? if you want to be just friends and nothing more, I'll be happy, but its really hurtful to be treated one way one day then the reverse the next. I would still like to give us a chance, but if I can only have a friendship with you, then I would like that, but I don't want to be someone you're only nice to when it suits. I really just want to be what you want from me but I feel signals are being mixed because actions and words aren't match from either of us. You don't have to answer me right away just as long as we are both being 100% honest with each other. I hope you have a good Christmas break and see you next semester."

I'm a blunt person and need the same from others. I just want to know what he wants. Should I ask him about it through the "note" or ask our friend and risk him ripping me a new one?
