my ex and i dated for two and a half years. we made a lot of memeories together and we loved each other very much. we even talked about marriage and our future together. things changed and he became more interested in drinking and partying and other girls. he cheated on me then dumped me and had sex with another girl a week later. he at first told me he was always going to love me and that we would still get married, we even hung out a lot of times after breaking up and it was as if we were together. he treated me the same way, said I was cute and pretty and he told me he liked me and we cuddled and hooked up and he would pay for my meals and give me rides but eventually he admitted he had only been using me and didn't have any feelings for me and he had been dating someone else. he says he wants me out of his life and he blocked me on all social media. so i guess im just wondering, is it possible he may still think about me, or is it not likely?

I argued with this guy I was talking to because he was playing mind games. He told me he really liked me and wouldn't text me for 3-4 days. I confronted him and he got very defensive and told me off and said he didn't want to deal with an emotional person like me he hardly knows. He disappeared for two weeks. He recently messaged me after 2 weeks. He said he needed space and that he did enjoy hanging out with me. That he was "truly" busy and he is sorry for not getting back to me. He hopes I understand, etc. At first I was happy he messaged me and I responded immediately apologizing as well. I had a major crush on him. But then I checked his online dating profile and he was online yesterday. I'm trying to be smart about this.
I'm not sure if he's genuinely sorry, or that he knows im nice and he can use me for his boredom. If a guy texts you to apologize yet still goes online for profile is it still considered genuine? I was really hurt when he argued with me and just didn't talk to me after without trying to solve it. Then told me he didn't want to deal with me when he hardly knew me. I'm pretty sure he is just keeping me around as an option. He must really think I'm stupid. He says he has been "crazy busy" but he had time to re-do his online dating profile and go online. So Im not sure if I should tell him off again saying I dont want to be an option and I'm glad he messaged me but can he not contact me again. Or to actually believe him. I know he's bored. We have hung out once and talked/facetimed for a month before this. What should I do? I don't want to get hurt again. He really did a number on me when he left.

Well, this guy and I have been dating each other off and on for three years now. We started as fuck buddies. Then I caught feelings and at first he didn't. I stood by him and was loyal either way. I guess later on he caught feelings. Now, he's a liar and a cheater. He always breaks up with me though. Then after awhile we talk and then he gets back together with me. Then it ends up the same way... I don't know if I should believe him when he tells me he loves me anymore... its not always bad though. He took care of me when I had nothing... he DOES things to show he loves me, its just the fear of him leaving me, cheating, or lying to me is permanently there and now I don't know how I feel anymore. I don't know if I should believe him this time or give him any more chances... he makes me feel like everything is my fault without directly saying it. Like he complains that im too insecure, well I wasn't insecure until you continuously lied, cheated, and then left me. One of the reasons he broke up with me was Recently when he said he didn't love me. That was two months ago, now he says he knows he loves me. I'm so confused and don't know what to feel or do. I think I'm scared to get close to him. I know I still lovvve him with all my heart and I want to be happy with him... but does he truly love me?
