Let's say you have a 8 year old son who was unfortunately born with the vector virus due a crazy freak accident that happened to you as a child. The vector virus gave your son horns on the top of his head, , red hair, and telekinesis ability that will eventually be able to slice though objects and kill people in seconds. Your son was taken from you as a baby but you saw him again when he was five. He was very shy, baby like and threw your wife ( his mother) across the room when she tried to touch him. They shot him with a taser and he sobbed uncontrollably and tried to get away, and he wasn't able to use his vectors.

When he was 7 they put him in a room with your wife and 7 other security guards. Your wife walked over to hug him again. Your son was ready to use his vectors to throw your wife ( his mother) across the room again but then he remembered the security guards with the tasers and stopped. He was shy and scared. She was able to hug and kiss him though and after a little while he smiled.
