I get bullied a lot for being a multilingual girl. I speak English and French as well as all Canadian First Nations languages fluently and am learning Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish, Russian and Croatian. People don't seem to like it but I love learning to speak other languages. Sometimes it becomes unbearable when I'm on the phone with friends or in my classes and people pick on me for switching my accent without realizing it or speaking another language in general. I've asked them to stop before and they haven't. I really want to keep learning but don't want to get picked on! What should I do?

I've been forcing myself to learn german for 3 years because it's needed to get a job in my city, but I just couldn't stand it, it sounds so awful and harsh. I've been the worst in my class and my brain spits out every word I try to learn.
I've just made a decision to switch from german classes to french classes. I've always loved the sound of french, it's so beautiful and sexy <3 This language won't help me get a job, but I'm finally excited by the though of learning it, and not disgusted

I know of a couple that hardly knew each other's language when they first met. Years later, the Mexican guy's English is good and his wife can speak fluent Spanish by now.

Assuming, both were learning at the same time... who would you say struggles the most? The native English speaker or the native Spanish speaker?
