I'm kind of traumatized because I use to get bullied a whole lot during my childhood days, when i was in school from elementary through highschool, several different kids would tease me about how I had bad breath, and they thought I was a slow retarded kid because i didn't say much in school. I never had confidence in talking because i use to stutter when I talk. The thing is, back when i was a kid, i use to see education as punishment instead of a reward, like you know when kids would act up in class the teacher would make them do work, that's what made me not be interested in remembering most school work, but back then i didn't see how much school work would benefit a kid.

I also use to be a bunching bag, like most of the time if a kid wanted to fight me, I wouldn't fight them back because i didn't like attention being drawn towards me, plus I didn't want to get suspend from school and have to explain to my parents the situation. I just didn't want my folks to be worried thinking my school environment was bad. Some kids would also poke fun at me for staying in the house all day and not coming out, the thing is I grew up in a bad neighborhood, t which the neighbors me and my folks use to friends with, my parents thought the neighbors kids was a bad influence on me, because those kids use to stay getting in trouble. i was naive about a lot of stuff, like most of the kids in my small town was street kids, they're parents just let them do anything they want to do, with no home training, which is the reason they gave the teachers a hard time.

Should I feel embarrassed that I had such bad breath and that I had a speech impediment? of course now these days people no longer complain about my bad hygienic breath.

Also the reason why I choose to be single because with me still living in the same small town that i was raised in, I don't want attention being drawn towards me, like kids knowing me from back in the day would be shock to see me of all people having a girlfriend.

So back when I was 16, we were at my ex-girlfriend's home, and she was having trouble picking out clothes for our first date. And she picked out a flowy, navy blue dress, that was about mid-thigh length. And she had decided that was what she was wearing to our date. And I was like, "It's nice, but isn't it a little short?" And she was like, "That's why we wear spandex shorts under these, silly."

And that logic stuck with me.

However, my current girlfriend (I'm 18 now), a few weeks ago, to our date wore a light blue dress, of about the same length as my ex-girlfriend's. Then when we went to her home after the date, she asked me what I thought of her new dress. I said it was a bit short, but extremely pretty. And I commented, "Good thing you had on shorts underneath, though."

Then she burst out laughing, and I asked her what's so funny, and she said she never wears shorts under her dresses. I asked her if it's not too risky, and she said no, since she knows how to sit and move in dresses, and only wears dresses when she knows she won't be climbing stairs or anything in the first place. She also said that shorts under dresses are really uncomfortable and take away the purpose completely.

Just basically, I had 2 girlfriends with completely different views on the subject. And there's nothing wrong with that, but I'm just wondering what MOST GIRLS typically think.

By saying "yes," you're secretly agreeing with my ex-girlfriend, and by saying "no," you're secretly agreeing with my current girlfriend.
