I'm not proud of this and I still regret it but I have cheated before. The relationship ended not long after it happened and we haven't spoken since. The long story of it is this, I was in a relationship with a girl and all of my friends told me it was abusive. To be clear I am the guy and it wasn't physically abusive at all on either side. They say it was mentally abusive because any argument we'd have she would threaten to leave me and since I loved her I caved in and gave her what she wanted because I didn't want to lose her. She'd always use that against me any chance she got. Shed also spend more time with other guys, some of them had admitted liking her rather then me which made me very uncomfortable. She let a guy obviously flirt with her because "he's my friend" for a while and then one day she just completely ignored me to play some games with a guy who we had fights over because he admitted to liking her and tried to get her to go behind my back with him she said she didn't do anything but would always spend time with him often times she'd spend more time with him then me. That day I broke down and one of my friends who apparently liked me comforted me and we ended up cheating. I regret it to this day and we aren't even together anymore. The relationship ended not long after because she left me for a guy who ghosted her before we got together. She doesn't know I cheated and we have no way to contact each other anymore. My friends tell me it's what she deserved or it isn't my fault but I still think about it and feel like shit.

The question is do you think what I did was justified and if not are there any circumstances where it would be justified.

I myself am Bi-sexual, as people on here know already.
I have found that gay guys I have met were always super friendly and there has never been a sense of tension or anger between us, they also cared more about things that happened, paying attention to the details instead of just brushing it off.

And same with Lesbians, I downright LOVE lesbians, I currently am friends with and still talk with 5 lesbians and no joking, they seriously are so much more attentive to emotions, give amazing advice about relationships, are supportive when you are in a bad way, every one of them have a great sense of humour, they are accepting of me and they don't think that me complimenting them is flirting, which is great because there are times I just want to be kind to a girl and after I compliment them they say "Sorry, I have a boyfriend" Like bruh, I just wanted to compliment you

Now these experiences may just be because I clicked with the right people in my life, but as far as I see, between straight and Non-straight, Non-straight people have always caused me FAR LESS stress and more comfort.

My love goes out to all those who are not Straight, of course I care about straight people, but I love non-straight people more, it can't be helped, I'm one of them :D

I myself Love giving hugs and receiving hugs.
I find handshakes awkward sometimes, only because it is prolonged and I have had many encounters with a handshake where neither of us let go because we are both waiting for the other to let go.

I HATE when I experience the high five scenario, it has happened, where I go for a high five and someone just shakes my hand mid air and it just falls awkward and bruh...

I do like high fives, they are quick, make a sweet sound if done properly and it isn't something awkward to do, it isn't something you ask for.

With a hug, people typically ask for a hug or offer a hug
With a handshake you typically both do it near the same time
With a high five, you literally just put your hand up and offer any of your friends to take part

I TRY not to handshake, but when I do it is mainly just as a greeting to my friends new relationship partners
