Does anyone do this? Do you sit down and play an album from the very beginning to the very end, all the while actively listening?

Or do you just skip around from song to song, artist to artist, genre to genre?

I was listening to some music earlier today, and I was thinking about how cool it was back in the day when more thought was put into the construction of a more experiential and cohesive album. It makes sense given that vinyl was the old medium, and it lent itself more to entire album listenings (it's far more of a pain in the ass to get up and change records vs. just hitting the "next" button on your digital device). Anyway, I kind of miss that.

Ok, so now that I've had my stream-of-consciousness moment there, I'll try and cut to the chase. Don't want this question becoming TLDR material.

Do you listen ton entire albums anymore? And so you kind of miss the days when listening to an entire album was more of an experience?
