I know that most people are on a spectrum, so let's imagine a scale. On one side of the scale is 0, or is completely logical and practical when expressing love and appreciation for your partner, and 100 is completely emotional, affectionate, passion-driven expression. Do you find yourself closer to 0 on the scale or 100?

I would classify practical/logical as not having to spend as much time with your partner, rarely verbalize or declare love, give more practical gifts rather than sentimental ones, sex is more based on pleasure rather than on the connective bond, prefers not to cuddle, rarely opens up kissing, rarely holds hands or touches partner, appreciates practical favors, intellectual discourse is more of a turn on than deep emotional conversation, more guarded with their emotions, more independent, etc.

And of course, affectionate and passionate people are the opposite; frequently declare and verbalize feelings, prefers romantic gestures, loves spontaneous sex, "makes love" more often than "fucks", loves to kiss/cuddle/hold/touch, sometimes may be seen as "clingy" to a very practical partner, more imaginative and creative in almost all aspects of the relationship (sex/love/dates/vacations), more codependent, etc.

I realize most people don't rest on 0 or 100 on this scale. If you could give yourself a number, where would you be? (I think I'd be a 75 or 80. I am an INFP-T by the way.)

You have two guys who like you, and while you like parts of each of them, each one has their own downside.

Guy A: This guy truly likes you. He's fun, spontaneous, and can always make you laugh. While he's cute, he's not much taller than you. He'll always listen when you have a problem, and is always there for you. But you get the vibe he's very insecure, and when he's at his most negative it can be poison to be around. He's not very motivated, in fact he's pretty lazy. You often feel like you have to take charge because he's so childish. He works a dead end job, makes little to no money, and you know that this will likely never improve. Deep down you know this isn't going anywhere.

Guy B: This guy is, in appearance and brains, everything a girl could ever want. He's very tall, and probably the smartest person you ever met. This guy is going places, he's extremely talented and hardworking. While he's not making much now, eventually you know he'll be rolling in it. But his personality leaves something to be desired. You often find him too serious. While sometimes he can make you laugh, his moments are few and far between. While you know he genuinely cares about you, you never really feel like he does. While you know he won't ever cheat on you, as he is upfront and honest in all things, his honesty can be a bit too much at times. You often feel like a burden to him.

ANSWER ON IMPULSE, DON"T THINK ABOUT IT

So some people say "I fell in love" as if itwas as spontaneous as getting the flu, I question that.

So one might argue that some people just can't make things work, so there's no love there, and conflict means that there's no chance for love.

Others say that you work through hard times to MAKE it work, even if you feel hurt to try. They say this is love as an action. Like if bae is stressed about everything and snapping at you over nothing, but you still give support even though it kills you to. Is this love? How do you 'fall' into this love?
