I’m not like an old fashioned freak or anything, but I do have standards. I’m hoping to have sex with only one man, which would be my future husband. I don’t smoke, do drugs, and I drink but I don’t get drunk. I love to cook and I try to get better at it. I clean and overall I just try to be a great woman. I have great fashion, but I won’t be wearing booty cut shorts in public or a low cut shirt IN PUBLIC. I’m going to college in August to get a degree. I really just want a clean life and go on adventures with my husband and have no regrets! Do guys like conservative girls?

For those who don't know, topfreedom is about the right of anyone, regardless of gender, to be able to walk around without a shirt in public.

I was introduced to it through the website TERA (Topfreedom Equal Rights Association), and immediately noticed that it was heavily political. I've been to free the nipple rallies and often speakers will go off on tangents about political issues not even remotely related to topfreedom, often demanding support for ideas and policies I'm opposed to.

Now I consider myself pretty conservative for the most part. There are patriarchies in the world, but I can't even say the word patriarchy in relation to American politics and keep a straight face. I'm also a staunch advocate of topfreedom movement for non-political reasons. Yet the movement seems to be entirely left wing and branching out to other aspects of far left ideology.

For me it's about desexualizing something that shouldn't have been sexual to begin with. Women are having to milk themselves like cattle before they leave the house if they don't want to risk some pervert treating them as a peep show, persecution, and in some areas even prosecution. That isn't right.

In societies where women never cover their chests you don't see men walking around gawking at them. They're not sexualized in those societies because they're a common sight. If we do that here nursing mothers can do what's natural, the embarrassment of the "nip slip" is gone, and run by gropings end within a few generations.

One of the common arguments given by topfreedom advocates is that the breast isn't sexual. I agree. Can we just focus on that, desexualizing the breast, and leave the politics out of it beyond what's necessary to overturn legislation?
