So apparently we are living in the 'snowflake era' where so many people (not everyone) has become more sensitive to practically everything.

More and more I hear people complaining saying that the younger generation moan and groan about every aspect of their lives.

Do you think this is true or not?
Have we, as people, become watered down through generations and are softer and more sensitive then the older people of our families?

As I was leaving work, I ran into my female colleague talking to a very pretty and nice looking woman. They were talking about her car and my colleague brought me in because I'm a former technician.
I talked to the girl as the colleague walked off, and she told me about the car and some things she did in her free time. Also mentioning that my colleague is her mom. I said I'd be willing to help with her car and she said she could meet me or something.
As she left she gave me a wave, and I talked to her mom. I wasn't sure if I was able to help, but I told my colleague, that her daughter was very pretty and she said she and her daughter don't hear that often. She said she's single and even said she was moaning about how she's single and no one asks her out and she's old while watching the bachelor. She's 28 and I thought she was 25.
I said I'd ask her daughter out if she didn't find it wired or inappropriate. My colleague said not at all, and said her daughter would be flattered. She whipped out her phone and proceeded to text but I don't know if it was to her daughter. But the colleague said it be cool if I did because she thinks I'd be good to her daughter.
