This may seem very simple, but her situations and my overprotective nature makes me question this

I told this girl I really liked her because we talk almost every day and have several same interests. Even though I've only met her once, and she doesn't live that close to me.
She told me she wasn't wanting a relationship because of how her last on went years prior, and it traumatized her to the point she doesn't date at all.
But since then we've talked about very personal things, and she opened up about the circumstances of that relationship and it was pretty bad.

Anyway, she's very obsessed with star wars, and she doesn't pay for any streaming services as she's the only bread winner and lives with her parents taking car of them.

I wanted to offer that she uses my Disney plus subscription so she could watch the Mandalorian and the clone wars.

We are still developing some kind of relationship, and she said we could see what happens and work out ways out, but asked to be very straightforward and honest cause she doesn't want to be hurt again.

Again, I know it's the simplest thing. But I'm also hesitant because I've only met her one time and I'm extremely worried about giving logins out

I wanted to watch some PG-13 movie when I was 11. All of my friends were allowed to. But no, I couldn't be exposed to anything that might "warp my fragile little mind".

They were still reviewing the lyrics of songs before they let me buy them when I was 15 FUCKING YEARS OLD.

In high school, I wanted to play football. The coach at my school was very safety-oriented, & my parents knew him & liked him. But no, their precious little baby couldn't possibly ever do anything the least bit dangerous.

& a billion other things like that. My friends were playing a game with toy guns when I was 15, but could I play? No, because "guns are serious & shouldn't be a game" - my beloved smother.

As soon as I can move out, I will. I'll start chain-smoking, knowing that it would destroy my parents to know that Iwas breathing pure cancer into my lungs multiple hours every day.

As soon as I live alone & have the money to buy alcohol, I'll be the cheapest vodka I can find & drink until I black out every night that I don't have work the next day. & if one day, I don't wake up, I don't really care. Oblivion is all I crave.

I'll play football now, but unlike if I had done it at school, I won't wear a helmet or any other protective gear. I'd love to get a concussion, & then call up my mom & tell her that I got when & tell her exactly why.

When I have the money, I will buy a motorcycle, & always ride it with no helmet. Yes, I could die or become a vegetable, no, I don't care.

You tried to overprotect me, mom and dad? Well, watch me completely neglect myself. Watch me total my life. Watch me not care. Who's in charge now, huh? Who is powerless now?

I've even considered joining the army. Of course, it would take at least one year, probably two to get in shape so that I would be accepted, & I would have to start eating healthier, too, which doesn't appeal, & I've heard that basic training is difficult.

But still, maybe if I came home in a body bag, my parents would finally understand.

My parents were strict and overprotective, never listened to a thing I wanted.
For example, they didn't let me watch R-rated movies until I was actually 17, because they're asshole boomers who were too strict. I have no respect for them.
They didn't let me play football because "my precious little head could get hurt".
They forced me to get an HPV vaccine even though it is NOT LEGALLY MANDATED, and even though I'm not a manwhore, I'm still a virgin by choice and don't ever want that to change. They ignored me, and forced me to get it anyone.
They searched my phone when I got in trouble at school, disregarding my privacy.
And a million other things like that.
It wasn't really any one incident that made me hate them, it was death by a thousand cuts, their was no straw that broke the camel's back, just years and years of accumulated resentment and bitterness
My ideal arrangement with regard to them would be complete separation. They could only call me to give me news on one of my grandparent's health or one of their dog's health. No contact on birthdays, holidays, Mother's/Father's Day.
I've even considered changing my surname so I don't carry theirs, but I decided not to, since my surname isn't just my father, it's also generations of ancestors who were good people, and it's not their fault my parents screwed up raising me.
I've considered getting plastic surgery so I don't look like my parents, but it's too expensive and I have a general distrust of medical "care".
