Now my friend says she wants to be a famous writer and have a ton of people read her books but she says she hates reading and doesn't plan on buying books or taking the time out to better her craft. But she still kinda expects she'll be a good writer. ( sell books) but I think her dream will never come and she needs to stop thinking that her goals and dreams of writing will happen. Because they will never happen. Why? To be a good writer you need to do a lot of reading, writing and editing if you don't your writing will never improve. You'll never be a good writer if you don't read or study things related to writing and she isn't willing to put the effort she will need to be a published writer. My younger sister said that I am a dream crusher and my words scar people. But let's say there's a friend and she believes she's the greatest singer ever and she's trying to get on X factor but she sounds awful. ( like a dying cat) She doesn't take singing lessons because she says singing lessons are boring and she's already a good singer. So she doesn't need them, but her voice is off key, it sounds awful and she needs singing lessons. Would it be bad if someone told her you sound awful? And if you go on X factor you'll embarrass yourself? And tried giving her tips on sounding better?
