Me and my boyfriend been together for 1.5 years
I have met his parents once few months ago and took his mum out for dinner and only met his dad briefly
So then today, its Christmas eve and he invited me to go to his parents place for Christmas lunch and plus his mum kept asking him about me and wants me to come
And so we went there
And i saw his parents and younger brother
They were friendly and asking me few questions about my family and all
And making sure I drink and eat a lot
Etc etc
Then when we left, his parents hugged me and said "come back next time yeah"
So then after we left their place, my boyfriend told me that his parents asking him questions when I went to the bathroom
Like these:
"What background is she again?"
"What religion is she?"
"Is she controlling? Coz i can see it by her face"
"Is she going to be your last girlfriend?"
"Is she always quiet like this?"
Does this mean they dont like me?
Why do they ask him those questions when im not there?

Guys, would you take your girlfriend to your family Christmas lunch/dinner if you're not serious about her?
My boyfriend (of over 1 year) is taking me to his family's Christmas lunch tomorrow
he's the only guy out of all my exes that has done this

So 2 days ago, he told me about his plans to go to his parent's house for Christmas dinner on Saturday (today)
I've met his parents before (once) for dinner few months ago
So anyway, my boyfriend asked if i wanted to go to the Christmas dinner and I said yes
And then yesterday, he told me again about the plans and then he said "i want to bring u but my dad is so weird. Esp when he drinks alcohol. He gets annoying and keeps saying shit. Im so embarrased to bring u around him"
And then i said "do u want me to go or no? I can come if u want"
And he said "yeh ill let u know whats happening. Gotta tlk to my mum first"
And then today, he called me up and said "i got work today so i told my parents to do the Christmas dinner/lunch tomorrow instead"
And then i said "oh okay"
And then he said "yeah my mum kept asking me about u.. like "hows ur gf?" And all that. She wants u to come. But to be honest, i kinda dont want u to come coz of my dad. He will say so much shit when he's drunk. he's gonna drink a lot. I dont want u to see that shit. Its so embarrasing. And they will ask u so many questions. The main focus is gonna be on you again"
And i said "ok.. so im not coming then?"
And he said "nah you can come. I just hope he doesn't do anything embarassing. I will let u know later. Prob having lunch and dinner with my family tomorrow"
Does he actually want me to come or no?
Coz if he doesn't then why would he tell me about it?
Im so confused
