You used to date someone, and since you split up they ended up meeting and getting into a new relationship with another person. (Perhaps even multiple relationships)
Those two subsequently split as well, and later one you two end up reconnecting and seem to be hitting it off again.
Would you consider getting back with them, or would the fact they'd been with someone else put you off?

In this scenario there is no cheating on anyone's part, imagine everyone has been honest and faithful.

My ex boyfriend of 13 months still wants to see me and has me sleeping over at his house and was begging me to come back and saying he misses me tons and that he loves me and that I’m beautiful. We had broken up back in June cuz he felt like I didn’t appreciate him - but he knows I do care for him tons cuz I always show him, and a day later he was with another woman making out with her and he goes on dates with her on the weekends...

he was telling me that this woman can be very hurtful and mean and she has an angry temper... she has also publically humiliated him and said lies that weren’t true as well... there are also trust issues between them. He also doesn’t feel comfy to tell her his deep dark secrets (that he was in jail before) that I know. This woman also says stuff to make him look like a bad guy and that he apparently said rotten things about me which weren’t true... she’s also very public while he is very private.

He tells me he doesn’t love this woman only cares for her and that it’s me that he has more history with and that I have qualities/ character traits that she doesn’t have : kindness, caring, patience, honest, loyal, etc... he also says it’s me that he wants a future with but he’s torn cuz of past misunderstandings that we had- his mom and my mom getting involved, etc...

we hugged all nite in bed and he muttered under his breAth in his sleep that he loves me more than I know and he had his arms around me all nite long and kissed my neck in his sleep also... he also got me a meaning full birthday gift which means something to me cuz it’s a 🧜🏻‍♀️ mermaid and he knows that’s my fave Disney film. He also hugs me very tightly and always helps me out.. he begs me to come over and to spend time together as well...

is this other woman a rebound? Does he want me back you think and is he regretting the break that we took?
